Hi everyone!
Here is a project from a while back that I forgot to share here. In my third year of school, I had the chance to participate in a project in collaboration with students from Cinecreatis, a film school sharing the building with mine. In a team of four, we created the opening credits of the student's graduation movie. This project aimed to integrate a real-life footage into a CGI world. You can find the full movie on this link: https://vimeo.com/458477530 .
I was in charge of the body rigging of the character as well as the modeling and rigging of part of the building in the paper city.
It was really interesting to take part in this project, we were lucky to be involved in the shooting of the footage and it was great fun to collaborate with different people. My CGI collaborators were Marine Guarnaccia, Lynn Dabbous, and Lucie Dias Da Costa.
Here is the full opening credit sequence.
I developed a tool to generate random Hausmann buildings. My teammate modeled different stories, I rigged each of them and pre-animated them with a global set driven key. Then I created this script to generate and connect the animations together.
Here is a replica of the pantheon which I modeled, rigged and animated.
